VTO Placement

What It Is

VTO (Virtual Try-On) Placement is the stage in which the correct positioning of the eyewear model is defined, in order to ensure optimal rendering within the virtual try-on system. The goal is to guarantee that the previously uploaded CUT model is perfectly aligned and proportioned, allowing for a realistic online fitting experience.

How It Works

Within the Variant MODEL_CODE_001 Details page, at the top left, there is the Positioning Coefficients command, located in the Admin Control Panel.

This function allows you to adjust specific coefficients along the X, Y, and Z axes to precisely position the model. A window will open where the following values must be set:

  • X-axis → adjusts the height of the temples, ensuring they rest correctly on the ears.

  • Y-axis → adjusts the height of the frame, ensuring proper placement on the face.

  • Z-axis → adjusts the distance of the glasses from the face.

To verify that the entered coefficients work correctly and that the eyewear is properly positioned, you need to access the SKU page of the eyewear for which the values were modified. In the left window, where the 3D model is displayed, the Try On VTO command is located at the top.

Clicking this command will open a window that activates the camera, allowing you to view the eyewear in the position defined by the set coefficients.

The coefficients are initially set by the Modeler; however, during the Spaarkly Rev. phase, the placement is checked and, if necessary, corrected by the Modeler Supervisor to guarantee maximum accuracy in the final result.
