Analytics

Campaign Catalogues do not have an analytics section of their own. They are measured by the same engine as the rest of the platform, in Studio › Analytics › VTO Services, where a catalogue is one of the things you can filter by.

What Is Measured

What gets counted is the immersive experience opened from the catalogue — a virtual try-on or a 3D view. The catalogue page itself is not measured: page visits, scrolling, time on page are not part of the set.

The metrics are the standard ones of VTO Services, and they are defined in one place only — Analytics › VTO Services. In short, you get sessions, users and new users, views by variant, average session duration, average engagement and sessions per user, per-product and per-variant statistics, and the breakdown by device and platform.

Two of those definitions matter when you read a campaign's numbers:

  • A session counts only from four seconds up: someone who opens and closes immediately is not in the figures.
  • A view is per colour variant. One model tried in three colours is three views, which is why view counts on a wide catalogue look higher than you might expect.

Filtering by Campaign

Select the catalogue in the filters and the figures are limited to the experiences opened from it. That is what makes it possible to:

  • compare one campaign against another over the same number of days;
  • see which products a specific audience actually opened;
  • measure the engagement a given distribution channel produced.

Use the ready-made periods, or the same number of days, when you compare two campaigns — comparing four weeks against six tells you nothing.

Consumption Is a Different Thing

The experiences you see here are also what your subscription consumes. The analytics tell you what people did; the Subscriptions section tells you what is left. They count the same events, and you look at them for different reasons — see What Is Data Consumption.
