The Spaarkly Materials section in WorkDrive is a shared repository that centralizes all resources used to build and manage the material library in Blender.
It is directly connected to the Spaarkly pipeline, ensuring that every asset is standardized and immediately reusable in production.
Folder Structure
-
HDRI
Contains high-resolution HDR images used for lighting and rendering setups in Blender. -
Animation Asset
Stores prebuilt animation.blendfiles, including cameras, clip-on armatures, and interchangeable lens rigs.
(See the Animation Asset section for details.) -
Scripts
Contains the Python scripts of the Spaarkly add-on, divided by categories (Setup, Modeling, Rigging & Animation, Shading, Export).
(See the Scripts documentation.) -
Decals
Holds.blendfiles divided by brand, providing reusable logo decals and graphic elements.
These files are linked directly inside Blender, so artists can append decals into projects without duplicating data. -
Materials
This is the core library of Spaarkly materials. It is useful to speedup the shading workflow and it directely connected to the Blender Asset Browser with various shared folders. The folder is organized into five main categories:- Transmissive
- Metals
- Lenses
- Dielectric
- Decals

For naming conventions and detailed usage, refer to the Naming – Materials section.
To add new materials to the library the Material Asset Exporter can be used.
- ESA Dashboard
A Zoho Sheets file used to assign the correct HEX value when uploading glb files to the dashboard. It is subdivided into 2 sheets the first for the Frame colors and the second for the Lens Color (See the Frame Validation Upload section for details.)
