Starting the Showroom

Showroom Configuration

The Showroom experience is configured remotely by the Spaarkly team during the activation session. The configuration may include:

  • Customer journey personalisation — custom welcome screen, branding, and initial flow.
  • Catalogue access criteria — definition of target audience, brands, product types, and additional filters.
  • Experience modes — activation of Try-On mode, 3D Viewer mode, or both.
  • Showroom flow — activation of the personal Showroom flow with guided photo acquisition.
  • Filters — activation of quick filters and/or advanced filters.
  • Product variants — availability of colour variants, sizes, and other product attributes.
  • Language settings — interface language and available languages (Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, with the option to add more).
  • Audio prompts — activation of dynamic multilingual audio prompts during the main steps of the flow.
  • Visual branding — graphical and branding customisation of the experience.
  • PTZ camera logic — configuration of the mini PTZ camera management.
  • Analytics — configuration of analytics modules and related dashboards or data collection systems.
note

All configuration is managed remotely by the Spaarkly team. No manual configuration is required on the device.

Launching the Showroom Experience

Once the Mirror is powered on and connected to the internet:

  1. The Showroom application launches automatically after boot.
  2. The welcome screen or splash screen will appear, with any dedicated branding.
  3. The system is ready for customer interaction — no staff action is required.

If the application does not start automatically, try restarting the Mirror (see Troubleshooting).

Verifying Operation

After the first launch, verify the following:

  1. Camera feed — the Try-On view shows a live camera image.
  2. Touch response — the touchscreen responds correctly to interactions.
  3. Catalogue — products are displayed and can be browsed.
  4. Audio — if audio prompts are enabled, verify that sound is working.
  5. Connectivity — the QR code sharing feature is functional (requires internet).

During the initial activation session, the Spaarkly team will verify all these aspects remotely and record the device identifiers in the Hardware Identification Sheet.
