Starting the Showroom

tip

For a complete overview of modes and activatable features, see Features.

Customisation and Configuration

The software configuration may include, depending on the activated version:

  • customisation of the initial customer journey;
  • definition of catalogue access criteria, including target, brand, product type and other filters;
  • activation of Try-On mode, 3D Viewer mode or both;
  • activation of the personal Showroom flow with guided photo acquisition;
  • activation of quick filters and/or advanced filters;
  • availability of colour variants, sizes and other product attributes;
  • interface language setting and available languages;
  • activation of dynamic audio prompts in the main steps of the flow;
  • graphical and branding customisation of the experience;
  • configuration of the mini PTZ camera management logic;
  • configuration of analytics modules and the related dashboards or data collection systems.
note

All configuration is managed remotely by the Spaarkly team. No manual configuration is required on the device.

Launching the Showroom Experience

Once the Mirror is powered on and connected to the internet:

  1. The Showroom application launches automatically after boot.
  2. The welcome screen or splash screen will appear, with any dedicated branding.
  3. The system is ready for customer interaction — no staff action is required.

If the application does not start automatically, try restarting the Mirror (see Troubleshooting).

Verifying Operation

After the first launch, verify the following:

  1. Camera feed — the Try-On view shows a live camera image.
  2. Touch response — the touchscreen responds correctly to interactions.
  3. Catalogue — products are displayed and can be browsed.
  4. Audio — if audio prompts are enabled, verify that sound is working.
  5. Connectivity — the QR code sharing feature is functional (requires internet).

During the initial activation session, the Spaarkly team will verify all these aspects remotely and record the device identifiers in the Hardware Identification Sheet.
