Repair Sync

The Repair Sync feature is a maintenance tool designed to resolve discrepancies between your Shopify store and the ARShades plugin data.

When to use it​

You should use Repair Sync if you notice:

  • Products marked as "Synchronised" in the plugin but not showing the AR button on the storefront.
  • Errors relating to missing or invalid Variant IDs.

How it works​

Unlike the "New Sync" which looks for new matches, Repair Sync validates existing connections.

  1. It checks every currently linked product.
  2. It verifies that the Shopify Variant ID still exists and matches the ARShades Model ID.
  3. It removes broken links where the Shopify product no longer exists.

To run it, simply click the Repair Sync (wrench icon) button on the Assets page toolbar.
