The ARShades Shopify Plugin is the all-in-one solution to transform your eyewear e-commerce into an immersive experience. Thanks to this tool, you can offer your customers three key features:
- Virtual Try-On (VTO): Real-time virtual try-on via camera.
- 3D Viewer: Detailed 360° product exploration.
- ARPDMeter (PD Meter): Guided pupillary distance measurement experience, placeable in any compatible section of your storefront.
The core of the system is the ARShades Library, a centralised database containing the "Digital Twins" of your eyewear, ready to be displayed on your store without slowing down the site.
Main Features
Management & Development
- No-Code Integration: Fully compatible with Shopify Online Store 2.0. Drag and drop VTO, 3D, and ARPDMeter components directly from the theme editor as "App Blocks".
- Smart Synchronisation: The plugin scans your Shopify SKUs and automatically matches them with the 3D models present in the Library.
- Asset Ordering: If a product does not yet have its "Digital Twin", you can check availability or order its creation directly from ARShades Studio.
- Feature-based Licensing: Your subscription can include dedicated modules (VTO only, ARPDMeter only, or both). Module status is visible from the dashboard at any time.
Storefront Integration

Workflow
The path to going live can be summarised in three phases:
- Connection: Connect your store to the ARShades Library via API Key.
- Mapping: The system matches your catalogue products (via SKU) to the available 3D models.
- Publication: Activate VTO Button and 3D Viewer on product pages, and place ARPDMeter in any compatible theme section/template via the Shopify editor.
