Batch Management

Last Updated: 28/11/2025

Batches are the top-level organizational unit in Frame Validation. Each batch represents a collection of products you've ordered, typically grouped by order, brand, or campaign.

Understanding Batches

A batch contains:

  • Batch Name - Identifier for the order (e.g., "Nike Collection 2024")
  • Brand - The eyewear brand for this batch
  • Status - Current state of production
  • Products - Number of products in the batch
  • Variants - Total number of individual frame variants to be created
  • Progress - Percentage of variants that have been validated

Batch Status

Batches progress through these states:

StatusMeaning
In ProductionFrames are being created; production is underway
Ready for ReviewAll 3D models are complete and awaiting your validation
Partially ValidatedYou've validated some variants; others await review
CompletedAll variants have been validated and are published

From the left sidebar, select Frame Validation to see:

Organizing Batches

Finding Specific Batches

Use the search and filter options:

  • Search by batch name or SKU
  • Filter by brand
  • Filter by status (In Production, Ready for Review, etc.)
  • Filter by date range

Batch Naming Best Practices

When creating batches (through orders), use clear names:

  • Include the brand name: "Ray-Ban Summer 2024"
  • Include the collection or campaign: "Nike Performance Line Q4"
  • Include the date if relevant: "Oakley Promotion 2024-11"

This makes it easier to find and organize batches later.

What Happens Next

Once a batch is marked as "Ready for Review," you need to:

  1. Review the 3D models for each product
  2. Validate individual variants
  3. Accept or request revisions

See Validate Variants for detailed instructions on the validation process.
