Camera Installation
The ARShades Mirror Showroom uses a 4K HD mini PTZ camera (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) that is essential for both the virtual try-on experience and the showroom photo acquisition.
Camera Features
The mini PTZ camera is managed entirely by the software and offers several intelligent features:
- Auto-centring: Automatically positions and centres the user within the capture area.
- Adaptive framing: Adjusts the field of view to optimise the virtual try-on and photo capture.
- User tracking: Follows the user during the experience for a smoother interaction.
- Enhanced quality: Improves the overall quality of the try-on and showroom photo sessions.
All these functions are configured and controlled remotely by the Spaarkly team — no manual adjustment is needed after installation.
Installation and Verification
The camera installation is performed during the activation session with the Spaarkly team, who will guide you through the process remotely. During this session, the camera serial number will also be recorded in the Hardware Identification Sheet for your device.
Do not attempt to disassemble, modify, or reposition the camera internals. If the camera appears to malfunction, submit a support request for remote diagnosis.
