Search and Filter Products
The Search and Filter panel in the ARShades Library allows users to explore products and their variants efficiently. It is located on the left-hand side of the Library and offers both a free-text search and multiple filters to narrow down results.
Search
Users can search directly by entering keywords such as:
- Product or Variant Name
- SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)
- EAN/UPC codes
The system instantly updates the results to match the search term.
Filters
Filters can be applied individually or in combination to refine the list of assets. Available filters include:
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Brand | Restrict results to a specific brand. A dropdown lists all available brands. |
| Line | Filter by product line within a brand. |
| Type | Choose between model categories (e.g. Optical frames, Sunglasses frames). |
| Gender | Filter by gender target (e.g. Woman, Man, Unisex). |
| Size | Select by lens size (e.g. 44–51). |
| Frame Colour | Filter by the frame’s primary colour. |
| Frame Shape | Restrict results to a specific frame shape. |
| Age | Choose between adult and kids’ products. |
| Show New Assets | Toggle switch to display only the most recently added 3D assets. |
At the bottom of the panel, the buttons allow:
- Reset Filters: Clear all selections and return to the full list.
- Apply Filters: Confirm the selected filters and update the results.
Results View
Filtered results are displayed in a table with the following columns:

| Image | Thumbnail of the product. |
| Product Name | The product’s model name (clickable to open product detail). |
| Variants | Number of variants available for that product. |
| Brand | The associated eyewear brand. |
| Last Update | The date of the last update on the product or its variants. |
| Add to Catalogue | Quick action button (+) to add the product to a catalogue. |
By combining search, filters, and the Show New Assets toggle, users can easily focus on the specific products or SKUs they need, making it straightforward to identify whether an asset is available, in progress, or requires ordering.
