Subscription Add-ons
Last Updated: 15/07/2026
Overview
Add-ons are additional subscription options that extend the features or limits of a main plan. They are linked to an active main plan and cannot exist independently. Add-ons are particularly useful to support temporary campaigns, add new domains, purchase extra data, or expand consumption allowances beyond the main plan’s limits.
Main Add-on Types
| Add-on Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Campaign Catalogue | Enables a public, branded Campaign Catalogue on top of a VTO plan (also available as a standalone product). Billed monthly, or with a discounted annual commitment. See Campaign Catalogue packaging below. |
| Additional Domain | Extension (12-month term) that enables the use of an extra domain for an existing plan. |
| Data Pack | Prepaid data add-on that increases the available data transfer (GB) for a subscription when approaching or exceeding the main allowance. |
| Additional Branded Campaign (legacy) | Temporary extension (6-month term) for an extra branded VTO campaign or catalogue. Legacy add-on kept for existing subscriptions; for new activations use the Campaign Catalogue add-on above. |
Depending on your business needs, multiple add-ons may be attached to the same main plan.
Note. The ARShades subscription model is being redefined. Add-on names and terms — including legacy entries — will be aligned once that process is complete.
Campaign Catalogue Packaging
How the Campaign Catalogue is packaged depends on your plan:
- Enterprise plans (Basic and Branded) include one Campaign Catalogue, active for the entire life of the subscription. Additional catalogues can be activated as add-ons at a reserved Enterprise rate.
- Smart plans can activate Campaign Catalogues as an add-on; catalogues are served as a path under a shared ARShades domain.
- Without a VTO plan, the Campaign Catalogue is available as a standalone product, with its own data allowance and a dedicated subdomain.
Every paid unit can be activated monthly or with a discounted annual commitment. Amounts and discount levels are defined in your offer.
Data transfer generated by Campaign Catalogues counts toward the data allowance of the hosting subscription (standalone catalogues include their own allowance); the Data Pack add-on is the way to extend it.
Structure of an Add-on
Each add-on includes:
- Parent plan dependency: An add-on is always linked to an active main plan.
- Service inheritance: Add-ons share the same service set and domain restrictions of the parent plan.
- Allowances: Defined limits such as additional SKUs, storage, or data transfer depending on type.
- Duration: Depends on the add-on type — monthly or annual for Campaign Catalogues, a fixed period (6 or 12 months) for other types, or until consumption for prepaid Data Packs.
- Renewal: Add-ons can be renewed or replaced when they expire, but only while the parent plan is active.

In the Subscription plans table, add-ons are displayed indented under their parent main plan and marked with a blue ADD-ON badge. Example:
