Subscription Add-ons

Anything you add beside a subscription falls into one of four groups. They behave differently — in particular, only one of them is bought once and stays bought.
The commercial model was revised in September 2026, and two add-ons were removed rather than renamed. See the last section of this page. Studio may still show them on existing subscriptions until it is aligned.
Modules
A module switches on next to a platform subscription and is part of the subscription cycle: it can be switched on at any time, and switches off at the end of the month on a monthly subscription or at renewal on an annual one.

Data Packs
A data pack is prepaid consumption. It is outside the subscription cycle, which is what makes it different from everything else on this page:
- It is used after the quota included in your period, never before.
- It does not expire with your period. As long as the subscription is active, a pack you have paid for stays until it is used.
- Sizes are free on Enterprise and PD Meter, and per tier on Smart.
- Automatic top-up is optional: below a threshold proportional to your quota, a pack of the size you chose starts on its own. There is no limit to how many times it can fire.

Add-ons on Gateway and Mirror
Gateway and Mirror have their own add-ons, each at a single price: switching a module on or off, an extra page, an extra language, backup, coverage. They follow the subscription they belong to.
Professional Services
Work done by ARShades, sold beside the subscription and never inside it: setting up or updating a Mirror catalogue, fitting out a Gateway, integration done by ARShades, custom development. It is quoted in writing, invoiced on the work done, and sits outside your subscription cycle.
Commissioned services follow the same logic: 3D Asset Creation and Optimisation, per SKU and grouped in batches, and AI Photoshoots, per shot. No shots are included in any subscription.
Attached Subscriptions Are Not Add-ons
A Gateway, a Mirror, a PD Meter or a Campaign Catalogue bought beside your platform subscription is a subscription of its own, not an add-on — even when it is attached to yours and shares its expiry date. The difference matters when you cancel: see Subscription Plans.
Add-ons That No Longer Exist

Neither was renamed: both were removed because the thing they charged for is now either included or a subscription in its own right. If one of them is on your current subscription, it stays until your terms are renegotiated — ask if you want it looked at sooner.
