Create a Catalogue
The Add a Catalogue feature in ARShades Studio allows users to set up a new catalogue through a guided wizard. The catalogue is first saved as a Draft and can be published once ready.
How to Start
- Go to the My Catalogues section from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click on the + Add catalogue button in the top-right corner.
- The Create Catalogue wizard opens. Follow the steps on the left panel to complete the process.
Step 1 – Customisation
In this step you define the basic identity and look of the catalogue. Use the preview on the right to check changes in real time.

| Banner Image (Mobile) | Upload the banner image displayed on mobile devices. |

| Banner Height | Choose from preset values (100px, 200px, 250px) or set a custom size. |
| Banner Corner Radius | Define the corner radius of the banner. |
Tips:
- Use high-quality images optimised for both desktop and mobile.
- Keep your brand logo visible and well-positioned.
Step 3 – SEO
Optimise the catalogue for search engines and sharing on social media.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| SEO Title | The title displayed in search results. |
| Featured Image | Image used as preview when the link is shared. |
| Meta Descriptions | Short descriptions (max 170 characters) in multiple languages (IT, EN, FR, ES, DE). |
| Keywords | Up to six keywords for indexing. |
Tips:
- Write concise and descriptive titles.
- Provide language-specific meta descriptions for better international visibility.
Step 4 – Review
Before finalising, review all the entered data in the summary panel.
Displayed information includes:
- Catalogue Name
- Subdomain (assigned when publishing)
- SEO title, meta descriptions, and keywords
At this stage you can either:
- Create Catalogue: Save the catalogue as a draft.
- Cancel: Exit without saving.
Draft Handling
If you exit before completing the wizard, a confirmation dialog appears:
- Save as Draft: Stores progress for later editing.
- Discard Changes: Cancels without saving.
Draft catalogues are visible under the Drafts tab of the My Catalogues section, where they can be modified, published, or deleted.
