Pause or Cancel Assets

There are two ways to take a product out of a catalogue, and they are not interchangeable. Hiding it keeps it in the catalogue but out of sight. Deleting it removes it for good.
Hiding an Asset
Each product and each variant in the asset list has a visibility switch. Switching it off keeps the item in the catalogue while taking it out of what your customers see.
To hide an item: open the catalogue from My Catalogues, find the product or the variant in the list, and switch its visibility off. The change is saved immediately and confirmed on screen.
Visibility propagates both ways
This is the part that surprises people, so it is worth stating plainly:
- Switching a product off switches all of its variants off with it.
- Switching the last visible variant of a product off switches the product off too — a product with nothing left to show is hidden.
- Switching a variant back on while its product is hidden switches the product back on as well, so that the variant you just restored is actually reachable.
Turning a product back on does not restore the variants one by one: bring back the variants you want, and the product follows.
The SKU count of a subscription is the number of variants in its catalogues, and it does not look at visibility. Hiding variants tidies up the catalogue; it does not free up room in your plan. Only deleting does that.
Hidden assets are also still present in the CSV export, which is not filtered by visibility.
Deleting an Asset
Deleting removes the product or the variant from the catalogue. Use the delete icon in the asset list, and confirm in the dialog that appears.
The dialog is explicit about what it is about to remove, and the scope depends on where you clicked:
- Deleting a product removes the product and all of its variants.
- Deleting a variant removes only that variant, and leaves the product and its other variants in place.
There is no restore. What you can do is add the product again from the ARShades Library — the 3D asset itself is not destroyed, only its presence in this catalogue.
Choosing Between the Two

Hide a product that is coming back — an out-of-season model, a frame under review, a colour out of stock. Delete one that is not, and that you want off your plan's SKU count.
