Design Catalogue — Overview
Last Updated: 14/09/2026
The Design Catalogue is the editor that builds the public page of a Campaign Catalogue: the page your visitors open from a link or a QR code. You choose a page template, upload the logo and cover, set the colours and typography, write the texts, decide how prices appear, and publish — all from a single full-screen editor, with a live preview beside you.
Everything that used to live in the catalogue creation wizard — colours, banner, logo — is here. The wizard now asks only for what identifies the catalogue: name, SEO, review.
How to Open It
- Go to My Catalogues from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Find the catalogue you want to work on, in either the Published or the Drafts tab.
- Open the contextual menu (hamburger icon) on the catalogue row.
- Select Design Catalogue.
The editor opens on drafts too, not only on published catalogues: you can design the page of a catalogue that has never been published, and publish everything together later.
The Editor at a Glance
The Design Catalogue takes over the whole window — it has no dashboard sidebar, only its own header.
| Area | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Header | Catalogue name, the Design Catalogue label, the desktop/mobile switch, the unsaved and unpublished indicators, and the Save draft and Publish buttons. |
| Left panel | The sections of the editor: Template, Content, Options, Theme, Media, Merchandising, Sections, Tiles. One opens at a time. |
| Centre | The live preview of the catalogue page, in desktop or mobile width. |
Tips:
- The desktop/mobile switch changes the preview width only. It does not change what you are editing — options that have a separate mobile value say so explicitly (see Layout and Content).
- The editor remembers which sections you left open, in this browser.
What Is Not Here
The Design Catalogue changes how the catalogue page looks, and nothing else. These live elsewhere:
| Setting | Where |
|---|---|
| Catalogue name, SEO metadata | Creation wizard and Catalogue Settings |
| Licence and permissions | Catalogue Settings |
| Products, variants, order in the grid | Assets List and the catalogue's product pages |
| Product prices | Assets List → Manage Prices (see Merchandising) |
Publishing from this editor publishes only the page design. It never touches the catalogue's name, licence or permissions.
Where Did This Setting Go?
If you are coming from the older catalogue wizard, this is where its settings moved:
| Setting | Before | Today |
|---|---|---|
| Primary and secondary colour | Customisation step | Design Catalogue → Theme |
| Background colour | Customisation step | Design Catalogue → Theme |
| Card and button corner radius | Customisation step | Design Catalogue → Options |
| Logo | Banner step | Design Catalogue → Media |
| Cover image, desktop and mobile | Banner step | Design Catalogue → Media |
| Banner height, logo and name position | Banner step | Design Catalogue → Options |
| Catalogue name, SEO | Customisation and SEO steps | Unchanged: creation wizard and Catalogue Settings |
A Note on Names
You will meet the abbreviation DCC in the page URL (/my-catalogues/<id>/dcc) and in the technical documentation. It is the same thing: DCC is the internal identifier, Design Catalogue is the name of the section in Studio, and Campaign Catalogue is the product whose public page you are designing.
