Choose a Template
Last Updated: 14/09/2026
The template decides the shape of the catalogue page: how the header is built, how products are laid out, how much room images get. Everything else — colours, logo, texts, prices — works the same whichever template you pick.
Open the Template section of the editor: each template is a card with a preview, a name and a short description. Click one to apply it; the preview updates immediately.
The Four Templates
| Template | What it looks like | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Classic Grid | A regular grid of product cards under a standard header. The most neutral of the four. | General-purpose catalogues, large collections, when the products should speak for themselves. |
| Boutique | A sparser grid with more white space, room for a promotional banner and editorial touches. | Small, curated selections; premium positioning; seasonal promotions. |
| Gallery | Image-led layout, larger visuals, fewer elements competing with them. | Collections whose photography is the argument. |
| Hero Editorial | Opens on a full-width editorial hero, then the product grid below. | Collection launches and campaigns with a strong opening image. |
Before You Switch
Changing template resets the layout options to that template's defaults. Your content, media, filters and merchandising settings are kept; the options — the ones in the Layout and Content section — go back to the factory values of the template you just chose.
The same is true if you select the template you are already using: it is the way to reset the options to their defaults. Useful when you want exactly that, unwelcome when you clicked by accident.
Tips:
- Try the templates early, before spending time on the options. Switching later costs you that work.
- One step of undo is available from the editor toolbar, and only one: it is not a way back from a long session of changes.
Two Things to Know
The preview images are provisional. The pictures on the template cards are working screenshots, not the final commercial artwork. They show the idea of each layout, not the exact result — the live preview at the centre of the editor is what shows your catalogue.
All templates are selectable. There is no subscription tier that locks a template today: every active template is available on every plan.
