Design Catalogue — FAQ
Last Updated: 14/09/2026
Where did the Banner step go? And the colours in catalogue creation?
They moved into the Design Catalogue. Creating a catalogue now asks for the name, the SEO metadata and a final review; the logo and cover are in Media, the colours in Theme, the banner height and the position of logo and name among the Options. The full map is in the Overview.
I changed the colours in Catalogue Settings and the public page did not change. Why?
Because the two are independent. The page's colours were copied from the catalogue's once, when the Design Catalogue was created for it, and have gone their own way since. Change them in Theme, or use Realign to catalogue colours to copy the catalogue's colours over them again. See Media and Theme.
Why can't I switch the price on?
Because the catalogue has no prices yet. Seven of the merchandising settings stay disabled until at least one variant carries a price: import a price list from the catalogue's Assets List, with Manage Prices, and they turn on. See Merchandising.
I wrote the promotional banner text and it does not appear.
The promotional banner is rendered only by the Boutique template. On the other three the setting is saved but has no effect. Either switch template, or use a text section to carry the message.
I changed template and lost my settings. Can I get them back?
The editor has one step of undo, so if you notice immediately, you can. Otherwise no: changing template resets the layout options to the new template's defaults. Content, media, sections, tiles and merchandising are kept — it is the options that go back to factory. See Choose a Template.
The preview does not look like the published page.
Two usual reasons. On a draft, the preview shows the published catalogue's prices, not the draft's. And on some catalogues the preview does not update live: it shows the page as published, and your changes appear there only after you publish. See Preview and Publish.
