Media and Theme
Last Updated: 14/09/2026
Media holds the images of the page — the logo and the cover. Theme holds its colours and typography. Together they are what makes the page recognisably yours.
Media
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Logo | The logo shown in the page header. Optional: without one, the page falls back to your brand logo. |
| Logo (mobile) | An optional different logo for narrow screens. Left empty, the desktop logo is used. |
| Cover | The image at the top of the page. |
| Cover (mobile) | An optional different cover for narrow screens. Left empty, the desktop cover is used. |
Framing an Image
Each image has a framing control: drag to reposition, zoom in or out, and choose whether the image fills the area or fits inside it. The framing is saved next to the image — the original file is never modified, so you can reframe as often as you like without degrading it or re-uploading.
Tips:
- Upload images larger than you need and frame them here, rather than cropping them beforehand.
- Check the mobile width with the switch in the header: a cover framed for desktop often cuts badly on a phone, and that is what the mobile variant is for.
The Brand Logo Fallback
If you set no logo, the editor shows your brand logo dimmed. That means: this is what visitors will see, but it is not a choice saved on this catalogue. Upload a logo here and the page uses it; remove it and the page goes back to the brand logo.
Theme
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Primary, Secondary, Accent | The three colour seeds the page palette is built from. |
| Colour scheme | Light or dark. |
| Font preset | The typographic signature of the page, chosen from the available presets. |
Colours Are Independent from the Catalogue's
This is the point that surprises most people, so it is worth reading twice.
When the Design Catalogue is first created for a catalogue, the colour seeds are copied once from the catalogue's own colours. From that moment the two are independent, in both directions:
- changing the colours in Catalogue Settings does not change the public page;
- changing them here does not change the catalogue's settings.
The Realign to catalogue colours button is the only bridge: it copies the catalogue's colours over the page's seeds again, on demand.
Tips:
- Set the colours here, not in Catalogue Settings, if what you care about is the public page.
- The palette is derived from the three seeds: you are choosing a direction, not every colour on the page.
